Are you hosting any Christmas parties this year? Admittedly, we packed our hosting into one weekend. We are hosting the church elders and their wives for a small Christmas get together on a Friday night, and then two days later we are opening our home up for a Holiday Open House to the entire congregation. I know, crazy lady right here. Or someone who likes to buy lots of good food and entertain….or maybe a combination of both. I am sure there will be wine involved, so we are going to be okay!
We just moved into a new home, and with that comes the excitement of decorating for Christmas. Our house is brand new, and even though it’s still pretty clean and new, we are adding our own touches here and there. And, using it as a great excuse to update some of our home decor. One area of our home decor that needs some extra love is our pictures on the wall. Last fall, we had some family photos taken by a professional, and I had them put on canvases and they hang in our living room.
I recently added two 12×12 canvases I had made on Shutterfly to our collection. I had taken our cuties out to photograph them on a warm, fall day. Since I had taken these pictures, I really wanted to do something with them. I started browsing around Shutterfly, and came across their amazing wood framed canvases. They have all sizes! These 12×12 were the perfect size to finish off our wall display.
Shutterfly has a huge variety of options to display your favorite photos. They aren’t just a photo storage site, or a site to print off your pictures. They have really added a lot of great ideas and options to their Home Decor area of their site, and these canvases turned out amazing!
Take a look at some of your recent photos. What can you do with them? Add them to a Christmas card? Maybe create some jewelry with them? Or even order some larger sizes and hang them up? Be proud of your photos, and show them off with Shutterfly! What special, new touches will you add to your home for the Christmas season?
