I am so loving all these great recipes linked up each week. Somehow, the party is growing and growing, and I am so grateful! I know it takes time to link up…trust me, I slack in that department sometimes! At any rate, I really appreciate you all joining me each week.
This week, I’m sharing two of our favorite sides in the summer. We are grilling about six days a week, and two of our go to sides are Potatoes and Onions and Peppers and Onions.
Pretty simple……so here’s how you make them:Potatoes and Onions:Ingredients:4 white potatoes, thinly sliced1 medium onion, thinly slicedGarlic SaltButter
Directions:1. Thinly slice your potatoes and onions. The thinner they’re sliced, the quicker they will cook.2. Lay out a large sheet of foil. I like to use the heavy duty foil. You’re going to make a foil packet for your potatoes and onions.3. Spray the foil with cooking spray. Arrange your potatoes and onions on the foil. 4. Slice a few pats of butter and lay them on top of the onions and potatoes. Sprinkle with garlic salt. 5. Wrap your potatoes and onions in a nice little packet. 6. Grill for 15-20 minutes on medium heat, or until the potatoes are tender.
I repeat the same process, but with bell peppers and onions. These are especially good to top bratwurst with.
