Finding Joy in the Everyday

Hall Closet Organization

Wow!! Who knew that organizing our hall closet could be so easy and inexpensive?  Not me!
Here is what we started with:
Coats shoved in too tight.  Hats, gloves, etc. on the top in bins where the kids can't reach.

A trumpet, reusable grocery bags, my purse, and a trumpet shoved in the bottom.  Yuck!
 Enter the {secret} organizing weapon.....
The Over the Door Organizer!  From Amazon!!
And, my second secret organizing weapon...the cute two year old :)

The finished product :)

This project took me about 45 minutes to complete.  I started by taking EVERYTHING out, and deciding where to go from there.  I had purchased the organizer with the intention of storing hats, gloves, etc. in it.

I was able to donate some hats and gloves, put the backpack cooler away {in the basement...not  many zoo trips this time of year}, and arrange things so the kids could get to them.   I am so pleased with how it turned out, and more importantly its functionality!

Love the use of the over the door shoe organizer. I've seen lots of great uses for those lately.
