Favorite Things Party {Crafty Style}

Have you heard of a "Favorite Things Party?"  If not, it's where you gather a few friends together, and give each of them FIVE of your {Favorite} things.  Super fun, right?  Well, combine that with getting a package on your doorstep with some of your FAVORITE crafty goodness-and sending one to a friend, and you've got something fun.

It's the First Annual Favorite Things Party {Crafty Style}!  Here is how it works:

  • Sign up using the form below by Friday, March 1.  
  • You will be paired with another crafty person-which means you will each send and receive a package in the month of March.
  • I will email you by March 4 to tell you who your partner is and a few small details about her.
  • Please mail your package by March 31, 2013.
  • On April 6th, I will host a link party right here on My Favorite Finds for you to share your package goodies.  You can share what you sent AND what you received.  No blog, no problem!  Just email me at foundmyfavorite@gmail.com and I'll post your package pics.  Or, share them on the My Favorite Finds Facebook page.  
  • Favorite Things {Crafty Style} is open to US Residents only.  I hate to leave out my international friends, but for the first few, it's US only.
  • Your crafty goodness should fit in a package no bigger than a shoebox-and remember, treat others the way you want to be treated.  Let's make this fun for everyone!
  • Gather FIVE {or more} of your favorite crafty goodness to send to your partner.

Suggestions on what to send:

  • A wreath making kit
  • Pennants for banners, or even a banner or garland that you made yourself
  • Mod Podge, glitter, washi tape, and fun paper for card making
  • Handmade note cards
  • A framed printable
  • Kid friendly crafty supplies
  • Crocheting supplies, ribbon, buttons, etc.
  • Custom made coasters
  • Your own creation {jewelry, banners, labels, etc.}

As you can see, the ideas are endless.  If your'e stuck, put together a fun box of general crafty supplies {glue dots, washi tape, craft organizers, ribbon, etc.}.

Please know that by filling out the form, you are committing to assemble a package and send it to your partner by the end of March.  In return, you will receive a package from your partner.

    I AM IN! I hosted a Favorite Things Party at my house over Christmas and it was an absolute blast! I love your take on it - this will be so much fun! So excited Carrie!!! Signing up now, and will definitely spread the word.
