Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party-10 Fun Family Costumes

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is one of the most unique, exciting events that Disney puts on in the fall season. It’s beach season here in our house!  We are trading in our annual Walt Disney World trip this summer for a trip to Hilton Head Island with my in laws-yes, my in laws.  I have the BEST in laws on earth, and I’m so looking forward to a trip to the beach with them-and making those “vacations with grandparents” memories for our children.  Can’t wait!  So on a summer afternoon, I created this Seashell Wreath with easy supplies I had on hand.

Princess Jewelry Hook

Princess Jewelry Hook #princessroom #littlegirldecor #silhouetteamerica

Princess….I think that should be Natalie’s middle name.  I mean, really.  She has two older brothers, she is the only girl we have, and she loves anything and everything sparkly and shiny and girly.  I personally wouldn’t have it any other way!  So, for her birthday, we did a little room makeover.  We wanted it to be “princessy”, but not Disney princess.  You should all know by now that around the Hurst house, we love us some Disney travel, movies, music, and magic.  BUT, believe it or not, our house is not-nor will ever be-”Disney-fied”.  Including the kids’ rooms.    So, playing with the princess theme, I created this Princess Jewelry Hook so Princess Natalie can have her jewels within easy reach and they won’t get tangled in her jewelry box.

3D Spring Flower Wreath

Spring Flower Wreath

I have let our front door be bare long enough.  We had our Snowflake Christmas wreath up for the holidays, and then I just didn’t get around to making an “in between” wreath-like my Ribbon and Glitter Wreath-from last winter.  I think I hit a case of the winter blahs….I mean, when it’s 20 degrees outside {tops} for weeks upon weeks, I don’t feel like doing anything!  However, now that it is March, and spring is “right around the corner”….or so they say….the Silhouette Challenge for March was the perfect opportunity to freshen up the front door-with paper!  This month’s Silhouette Challenge is using paper.

Personalized Baby Name Tile

BabyNameTile

I’m all about personalized gifts.  Whether it’s with a monogram or the name of the recipient, I love adding that personal touch.  And that means I usually get to use my Silhouette Cameo :).  So, when my sister had my sweet little niece, I knew that for a shower gift, I’d be making he something personal, and something that will remind her of how much God loves her. Piggybacking on my Family Tile, I came up with this Baby Name Tile for her.  It’s so unique, fairly easy, and personal.
